Hello from Halifax!
Hi everyone,
We're a group of Vietnamese-Canadian school-aged kids from Halifax. We get together to learn about our culture and our identities. Most of our parents and grandparents left their home country because of war. We know that many Vietnamese people were denied their rights during the war and years after the war ended; many became refugees in other countries but they were not recognized as having a legal identity in that country. They became stateless and many of their rights were not protected. We're interested in learning more about rights and kids in other countries.
